Recognized as leaders in their fields of expertise, the specialists at WRCBSS provide state-of-the-art treatment, including minimally invasive endoscopic brain surgery to remove certain types of brain tumors.  WRCBSS surgeons also introduced Gamma Knife radiosurgery to Southern Nevada, where the group operates the Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Center at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas.  The Gamma Knife—not a knife at all—uses radiation to target and destroy many inaccessible and/or inoperable brain tumors such as acoustic neuromas and meningiomas.  The tumors and abnormalities disappear during the weeks and months after a single treatment.
