Prior Authorization Specialist - Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Obtainig prior authorizations for radiological testing and exams, physical therapy, referrals to specialist for consults and treatments, and provides clerical back-up as necessary. Candidate must be well organized and computer literate, able to work independently and multi-task, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of CPT & ICD-9 required. Two years previous experience preferred.

 

File Clerk - Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Filing and retrieving medical records and charts on a daily basis, and communicating with patients, physician offices, and other offices regarding medical records. Candidate must be well organized and computer literate, able to work independently, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to classify, retrieve, and update information numerically and alphabetically.

 

Medical Receptionst: - Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Greeting and checking in office patients, collecting payments, answering multi-line phones and call routing, scheduling appointments, light typing, filing, faxing, Xeroxing and assisting one or more physicians with clerical tasks. The ideal candidate must be well organized and computer literate, able to work independently and to multi-task, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Minimum one year medical practice experience and knowledge of medical terminolgy preferred. 

 

Surgery Scheduler - Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Scheduling adn obtaining prior authorization for all surgeries, maintaining physician''''s patient and surgery schedules, screen patient and personal calls, coordinate meetings and appointments for physician, travel to satellite office locations, greeting and checking in office patients, collecting payments, answering multi-line phones, call routing and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate must be well organized and computer literate, able to work independently and to multi-task, knowledge of CPT and IDC-9 required, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Minimum two year medical practice experience and knowledge of medical terminology and Nevada insurances preferred.
